About Our Woodlands Location
Welcome to our newest location of Pearland Animal Cancer and Referral Center, The Woodlands, which was designed with a special intent to provide oncologic veterinary care with additional amenities for pet owners, we strive to provide the highest level of care possible while improving your pet’s quality of life during their treatment journey.
Uniquely, we are the first and only specialty referral hospital in the Houston area dedicated to patients and clients with cancer. We are a young, rapidly growing practice, and in a short time, we have exceeded expectations in providing excellence in patient care and referral services to clients and veterinarians in the Greater Houston area. As a result, we are answering the demand for expended full-time specialty care as part of our expertise in The Woodlands and Greater Houston area. We have a detail-oriented group of fun-loving technicians that excel in client communication, patient care, and empathy.
The Woodlands, Texas was voted one of the best places to live in the USA! and is 40 minutes north of Houston.

She shared information in a straightforward way, took time to answer all our questions, showed genuine compassion and empathy, and explained potential next steps after we receive more test results. Dr. Parsons took care of our dog when he was diagnosed with cancer. She gave him a treatment protocol that helped him lead a full and vigorous life for seven months. She and her team were incredibly caring and attentive, making themselves available after hours, if needed. Having a dog go through cancer treatment can be daunting, but the Pearland Animal Cancer Center made the experience less so, thanks to the great care and empathy of Dr. Parsons and her team.
Great experience! From when we first walked in and saw the welcome sign with my baby’s name on it to the friendly reception staff. Taylor the vet tech was very friendly and informative. She took time to explain what was going on and was very kind to my 18yr baby. We saw Dr. Kaite Stroda who was very thoughtful and kind as well. She helped decide the best course of treatment. The staff were all great, very punctual and informative.
Seriously amazing place. I can’t express how great the entire staff is, taking as much time as needed to explain treatment options & pricing as well as accommodating appointments/drop-offs/pick-ups that work with my schedule. Couldn’t be doing a better job.
I recently brought my dog, Stella, to Dr. Parsons. She and the staff here are amazing! Excellent at what they do with great communication and customer service. You can feel they all care, and Dr. Parson’s bedside manner is exceptional. I have been to a quite a few veterinarians and specialists and I must say Pearland Animal Cancer & Referral Center is hands down THE best. I found them online and decided to get a referral here because of their great reviews and they did not disappoint. I drive all the way down from The Woodlands, but it is worth it. I am super excited because they have another location opening in The Woodlands 🙂 Highly recommend!!
